We really never dreamed we'd get another chance to use fresh KINGPIN semen but for a couple of weeks last fall, it came back to life and we didn't waste the chance. Mother 23-10, one of Carole's sisters that sold in the '22 BTB Sale to Stacener's in TX. She's always been the most impressive visually and from a resume standpoint, she's also been the generator. She's backed by 96-7, the Dirty daughter that sold as Lot 1 in the '21 BTB Sale and 143-10, the Dirty Good sow that sold in the '20 BTB Sale. One could make a very strong argument that this is our most potent sow family. Sired by KINGPIN and to steal the words from the recent BTB catalog; He wasn't an accident. In fact, his is the result of one of the first double-bred Dirty Secret mating's we made. His fertility has always been a struggle and looking back, it's somewhat of a miracle that he ever sired a pig, much less the footprint he's left.
